Parents are very important to us as children achieve their best when home and school work well together.
We welcome parents into the academy and are continually looking for ways to develop stronger links. The children’s development is carefully monitored and parents are kept well informed of progress. Sharing special events, times and activities with parents and encouraging parents to join us as often as possible to share the milestones in their child’s education is a key feature of the academy.
We organise a range of family learning opportunities, offering parents the chance to support children’s learning in a fun way.
Take a look at what our children are studying at school this year.
You can also find out about our approach to phonics and reading. Check out our term by term breakdown of all the things your child will experience and learn about during this next year at Kingsland!
Ready and On Time
Regular attendance is very important to children’s progress.
We strongly recommend that your child only misses school if they are unwell. Have a look at the classes which have the best attendance this term.
Join the V.I.P’s
We feel that it is important to acknowledge when our pupils are making an excellent contribution.
Will you be on the V.I.P list? Mrs.Goddard and Mrs.Grattage have been keeping track of all of the children who have been fantastic at school and there just might be a special treat waiting for them.
We celebrate being part of Britain.
The Academy Governors are committed to developing an inclusive school that reflects the diversity of the local community.

We are part of the St. Bart’s Academy Trust which is committed to improving the life chances of children.
Kingsland C.E. Academy is part of the St. Bart’s Academy Trust which is committed to improving the life chances of children. This moral obligation and mission, does not end at the school gates, within our own Local Authorities, or even within our own country. Where St. Bart’s Academies have the capacity to make a difference, they are morally bound to do so.
Our Academy is a friendly, inspiring environment that occupies an important place at the heart of our local community. As a two form entry Academy, we provide educational services for children from Nursery to Year 6.
Planning Your Visit
A car park for school visitors is located via the Eaves Lane entrance. You can use the school postcode, ST2 9AS for your Sat Nav. Please note the school car park gets very busy at the beginning and end of the school day and no car is to be parked on double yellow lines as this causes congestion problems.
Thank you and enjoy your visit.
